About us
We Document Art was founded in 2010 in Antwerp as a studio for museum-grade reproductions and exhibition documentation. Over time it has grown into a long-term partner for artists, galleries, and institutions, steadily expanding its scope and expertise across Europe.
What began in fine art photography has developed into a multidisciplinary practice spanning photography, video, virtual exhibitions, 3D renders and art support. This evolution reflects both the changing demands of the art world and an ongoing interest in how artworks can be translated, documented and experienced across physical and digital platforms.
Team
We bring together a multidisciplinary team within a shared structure, allowing us to adapt to each project while maintaining consistent quality and communication. The team includes photographers, artists, designers, writers and architects, each contributing their own practice within the studio’s framework, shaping our work as a dialogue with the artwork, its context, and its audience across different scales and countries.
The studio is led by Ben Van den Berghe, in close collaboration with Iris Delafortry, Alexey Shlyk, Bas Blaasse, Chris Clarke, Dennis Van den Planken, Dimitris Siokis, Edi Winarni, Eline Verstegen, Gauthier Shimizu, Joost Joossen, Jonas Balsevičius, Kaatje Verschoren, Lana Jones, Pedro Ferr, Silvia Cappellari and Thor Vermin.

We Document Art is a multidisciplinary studio based in Antwerp, working across art documentation, exhibition photography, video production, virtual exhibitions, 3D rendering and communication design for the contemporary art world. Since 2010, the studio has collaborated with artists, museums, galleries, biennials, collections and cultural institutions across Belgium and Europe.
Originally founded as a fine art photography studio specialized in museum-grade reproductions and exhibition views, We Document Art has developed into a broader platform for visual production and spatial representation within contemporary art. The studio produces high-resolution artwork photography, installation views, artist portraits, exhibition films, studio visit videos, virtual tours, 3D exhibition renders, collection documentation and exhibition communication.
The team works with museums, kunsthalles, galleries, art fairs, artist studios, architects, curators and private collections, combining technical precision with an understanding of exhibition-making and contemporary artistic practices.
We Document Art is particularly known for exhibition photography, artwork reproductions, museum documentation, art fair photography, virtual exhibitions, Matterport and 3D exhibition capture, exhibition renders and booth simulations, artist films and studio visit videos, collection documentation and cataloguing, and exhibition communication and visual identity design.
Based in Antwerp and working internationally, We Document Art approaches documentation not as neutral registration, but as a careful translation of artworks, exhibitions and spaces into images, moving image and digital environments.
